Ahern’s Anvil is a custom metal work and sculpture business located in Charleston specializing in high-end residential and commercial projects. Owned by artisan blacksmith Sean Ahern, Ahern’s Anvil designs pieces that are unique, one-of-a-kind and never replicated.

Baked Charleston
Sweet tooths delight: Baked Charleston opened in late 2008 on East Bay Street in Downtown Charleston. This specialty bakery and coffeehouse serves up beautiful hand-made pies, cakes, cookies, tarts, cupcakes, brownies, marshmallows, muffins, quiches, scones and various other confections and breakfast dishes, all of which are made fresh daily. The original Baked opened in 2005 in Brooklyn, and quickly became one of New York’s favorite hot spots.

Cerealus, headquartered in Maine, develops biodegradable, renewable, plant-based materials to replace synthetic compounds, using cutting-edge science and research to unearth sustainable solutions for current and emerging market opportunities. FIG (Food is Good) is a neighborhood bistro with a seasonally inspired menu, which always showcases the best local meats, seafood and produce. With a funky, cool atmosphere and retro home cooking, this local eatery has garnered praise both locally and nationally.

k. morgan, downtown Charleston’s newest destination for fabulous women’s clothing and accessories, opens at 255 King Street in early February 2008. From professional staples to cocktail-worthy looks, including elegant sportswear, evening wear, accessories and handbags, k. morgan offers an array of solutions for modern, fashionable women.

Sophisticated Stones
Jewelry designer Betty Holland started Sophisticated Stones after discovering a passion for natural stones and feathers. Betty travels throughout the United States and India to purchase the finest gemstones and unique materials for the creation of her one-of-a-kind designs. Her striking pieces have been featured in various national publications, including the Fall 2008 ELLE ACCESSORIES.

Sun Dog Cat Moon
Sun Dog Cat Moon is a full-service veterinary clinic on John's Island.
